He specializes in personal injury and wrongful death litigation brought by seamen, longshoremen and passengers aboard commercial and recreational vessels. He has special expertise in marine insurance litigation and represents clients against OSHA citations and BSEE investigations.Mr. McMahon received his Bachelor in Accountancy and his Master in Accountancy from the University of Mississippi and his J.D. from the Loyola University New Orleans School of Law. He served as law clerk in the United States Eastern District Court for the State of Louisiana. He is admitted to the Louisiana (1995) and Texas Bars (2004) and all State and Federal District and Appellate Courts throughout Louisiana and Texas. He is a member of the Federal Bar Association, the Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel, and the Southeastern Admiralty Law Institute. He was a licensed Certified Public Accountant for ten years and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and past member of the Louisiana State Board of Certified Public Accountants.
