Andy’s experience includes claims involving manufacturers of aviation, automotive, industrial, high-tech, food, oil and gas, and consumer products. Andy also provides his clients counseling on contracts and understanding and managing product liability risk.Prior to joining Blackwell Burke P.A., Andy represented some of the largest healthcare insurance companies in the United States, both as plaintiffs and defendants, in disputes across the Country. Andy also worked for a preeminent law firm in Seattle, representing product manufacturers in state and federal court and in high-stakes arbitrations. Prior to law school, Andy was an elementary school teacher with Teach for America in Chicago, and he maintains an active pro bono practice focused on at-risk youth.Andy is admitted to the bars of the Supreme Courts of Minnesota, Illinois, and Washington; numerous federal district courts; and the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the Sixth, Eighth, and Ninth Circuits. Before entering private practice, he served as a law clerk to the Honorable Thomas L.
