| Description | Carla loves running. She loves running so much that she ran a half marathon while she was pregnant. To say that Carla is determined would be an understatement. It is this drive and endurance that has enabled her to previously serve several years as a prosecutor for the Florida Department of Health. She tirelessly worked to combat prescription drug abuse and the proliferation of rogue pain clinics in Florida; furthering the mission of protecting, promoting, and improving the health of all Floridians. Carla has been a member of the Florida Bar Association since 2007. Her passion for helping others has evolved into her current practice representing Social Security claimants. In addition to Social Security matters, Carla handles all administrative law issues, including professional licensure denials and disciplinary proceedings before the Florida Department of Health and the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation. She lives in Jacksonville, Florida, with her husband and young son. Carla is currently in training for her next half marathon. When she is not training for a race, she enjoys attending Bible Study Fellowship, walking in her neighborhood, and serving in a variety of ways at Core Community Church.
