| Description | Christian Arndt graduated magna cum laude from The College of William and Mary in 2014, graduating with Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics. Mr. Arndt then attended New York Law School, enrolling in the Two-Year Honors Program with a focus on financial and compliance law. This program required students to hold to internship roles while attending classes, which Mr. Arndt fulfilled with roles at Bank of China International (USA) Holdings Inc. and Morgan Stanley.While in law school as a member of the Racial Justice Advocacy Group, Mr. Arndt participated in writing an Amicus Brief to the Supreme Court in the case of Buck v. Davis. In this case, the United States Supreme Court reversed the death sentence of the defendant Duane Buck after the defendant’s attorney introduced evidence that suggested the defendant would be more likely to commit violent acts in the future because he was black. It was this experience that ignited Mr. Arndt’s passion for litigation, as he saw the paramount need for zealous and competent advocates, especially in the litigation setting.After graduating law school in 2017, Mr. Arndt returned to his hometown in Washington, D.C. and took a position with the Pels Law Firm. Since that time, Mr. Arndt has worked in a variety of areas of general litigation law, including: Personal Injury/Wrongful Death/Medical Malpractice, Business Litigation, Contract Litigation, Construction Litigation (Plaintiff and Defendant) and Landlord-Tenant Litigation. Mr. Arndt has worked on cases in every phase of litigation, from initial client consultation, to trial, and on to appeal. |
