| Description | Chris Sleeper is an associate attorney at Jeff Field & Associates. Chris joined the firm in 2017. Born and raised in New Hampshire, Chris attended Hillsdale College in Michigan where he graduated summa cum laude in their Honor’s Program with a Bachelor of Arts in history and a minor in computer science and thereafter attended Case Western Reserve School of Law in Cleveland Ohio where he graduated cum laude as an Honors Fellow in legal writing. While in law school, he interned with the City of Parma Law Department assisting the mayor, city council and the law director in all areas of municipal law and with the Law and Leadership Institute to use legal education to empower underprivileged inner city youth.After graduating law school in 2013, Chris relocated to Atlanta with his wife and two dogs to begin his legal career. Prior to joining Jeff Field & Associates, Chris interned with the Georgia State University Low Income Taxpayer Clinic helping his clients resolve their tax debts through installment agreements and offers in compromise, spent a brief time as a tax attorney helping small businesses with all of their business structuring needs and then transitioned into bankruptcy practice as an associate with King & King handling all aspects of chapter 7 and chapter 13 bankruptcy.In his downtime, Chris enjoys spending time with his family and friends, especially hiking, running and bicycling with his dogs. He and his wife also volunteer with the Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers Foundation assisting low income individuals with landlord/tenant disputes and unpaid wage issues.Chris is a member of the Georgia Bar Association and Atlanta Bar Association. |
