| Description | Danielle N. Davey originally began working with Sloan Law Firm as a law clerk in February 2009 as a third year law student and she accepted a permanent position with the firm as Associate Attorney upon graduation. Ms. Davey became a Member in January 2015.Ms. Davey is a graduate of the University of Kansas School of Law. Her dual undergraduate degrees in Psychology and Political Science were also earned at the University of Kansas. While in law school she competed in the Phillip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition and served in leadership roles on the Student Bar Association’s Executive Board and the Dean’s Student Advisory Board. She also worked as an intern in the Douglas County Legal Aid Clinic, representing clients in various domestic, criminal and civil matters.Ms. Davey is admitted to practice law before the State Courts of Kansas and the U.S. District Court, District of Kansas as well as the Western District of Missouri and the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit. Ms. Davey’s professional associations include membership in the Kansas Bar Association, American Bar Association, Topeka Bar Association, and Douglas County Bar Association. She is also involved in the community as a member of the Lawrence St. Patrick’s Day Parade Committee, and a member and past-President of the TDC Learning Centers Board of Directors.After growing up in Kansas, Ms. Davey has continued to make Kansas her home. She lives in Lawrence where she continues to be an avid Jayhawks fan. |
