| Description | Mr. O’Connell graduated with honors from Allegheny College, and later earned his J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, where he served as a member of the Law Review editorial board. Prior to joining Willman & Silvaggio LLP in 2013, Mr. O’Connell served as Corporate Counsel to a global industrial management company, and was in that capacity responsible for managing environmental and other corporate legacy liabilities across the United States and Canada. In private practice with major Pittsburgh law firms, Mr. O’Connell also successfully litigated a wide variety of matters, including supply and construction contract disputes, e-commerce, environmental law, products liability and civil RICO. At Willman & Silvaggio LLP, Mr. O’Connell focuses his practice in the areas of general liability/toxic tort and insurance bad faith. Mr. O’Connell is admitted to practice before the Pennsylvania Supreme Court and the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania, and is a member of the Allegheny County and Pennsylvania Bar Associations. He is also an active member of his church and community, and remains a lifelong student of the classical guitar. |
