Ms. Sisemore is licensed by the State Bars of Texas and New Mexico.Ms.Sisemore holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Texas Tech University, where she was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma and was part of the Texas Tech Honors College. She also participated in a Master Studies Business Administration course of study. She received her Juris Doctor from Texas Tech University School of Law where she was heavily involved with advanced alternative dispute resolution and negotiation practices. She participated in the Texas Tech School of Law American Inns of Court, and was a member of the Student Ambassador Corps.Ms.Sisemore most recently worked for Kerr & McLaughlin, PLLC and Permian Abstract Company in Midland as in-house counsel. She was instrumental in assisting clients with financial and end-of-life planning and documentation, as well as property and title work.Ms.Sisemore spent two years working with the Legal Aid Society of Lubbock as Development Director and in a paralegal capacity. Grant research and reporting, as well as fundraising and working closely with clients enabled Ms. Sisemore to help those clients embody Legal Aid’s motto, Because Everyone Deserves Justice.During law school, Ms. Sisemore worked as a law clerk for Ware, Shay, & Garcia, PLLC, in Lubbock.Prior to her law career, Ms. Sisemore worked for The MED Group in Lubbock for five years, where she represented medical equipment companies in contract negotiations with insurance companies and referral partners. She successfully increased the patient base and ensured compliance for the company with Medicare standards and client benefits. Ms. Sisemore also has 5 years of experience with the insurance industry.Outside of work, Ms. Sisemore is busy raising twin sons who attend Laura Bush Middle School in Lubbock. Her golden retriever, Murphy, is a loving but energetic part of her life. She is active with the Kappa Kappa Gamma Alunmae Association, serving on the House Board. She enjoys travel, reading, and being involved with friends and family. |
