She attended Westmont College, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, cum laude in 2003. In 2007, Ms. Hazlett graduated with her J.D. from University of San Diego School of Law. She returned to Oregon and was admitted to practice in 2007. After two years at Medford firm, Grantland, Blodgett, Shaw & Abel, LLP, Ms. Hazlett believed that in starting her own practice, she could be more effective in helping people deal with a variety of legal issues.In 2009, Ms. Hazlett opened her practice, Jamie L. Hazlett, LLC. Her practice has allowed Ms. Hazlett to fully realize her passion for helping people at all levels of litigation in an affordable and attentive manner. Jamie specializes in family law, and criminal defense.Jamie Hazlett is an active member of the Oregon State Bar, former President of the Jackson County Bar Association, former President of Rogue Women Lawyers, and former Treasurer of the Oregon New Lawyers Division, and a former member of the ONLD Executive Committee. She has been voted the Reader’s Choice for Medford Mail Tribune for 2012.Jamie strives to treat every client with respect and integrity.
