| Description | Jared was raised in Sidney, Montana, where he graduated from Sidney High School in 1987. He received a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science, from Idaho State University in 1993. Jared graduated from the University of Idaho College of Law in 1996. While in law school, he competed as a member of the national moot court team in the Duberstein Bankruptcy Moot Court Competition in New York City. He also participated in moot court and was recognized by the Idaho Trial Lawyers as having written an award winning brief in the 1994-95 McNichols Moot Court Competition. He was also a tutor to first year law students and a recipient of the Langroise Scholarship in 1994. Jared entered private practice in the fall of 1996. He has successfully tried numerous jury trials to verdict, together with bench trials and arbitrations. He has enjoyed over two decades of representing private individuals, insurance companies, business entities and municipalities in various matters of civil litigation in Montana courts and administrative agencies through trial to appeal. He is admitted to practice before all Montana courts, the United States District Courts, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and the Tenth Circuit, together with the Northern Cheyenne Tribal Court. Jared enjoys a peer rating of distinguished with Martindale-Hubbell for high professional achievement and ethical standing and has been recognized in Mountain States Super Lawyers each year since 2014 based on peer recognition and professional achievement in the area of civil litigation defense.
