| Description | Lisa M. McCormack is of counsel to the Huntsville, Alabama law firm of Callahan PC. While in law school, she earned an Award for Excellent Achievement in the Study of Legal Writing, 1999 and an Award for Excellence in the First Year Moot Court Program, 2000. She also was the Senior Lead Editor for the Journal of Legal Profession, 2001-2002, was elected to serve as Vice President of Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity, 2001, a member of Dorbin Society, 1999-2002, and a member of the Farrah Law Society, 1999-2002. Lisa’s practice focuses are civil litigation, and business transactions and corporate matters of wide variety. She has substantial experience in both state and federal courts, litigating a broad range of disputes including breaches of contract, fraud, real property issues, landlord-tenant matters, and construction claims. In her corporate and transactions work, Lisa regularly advises clients concerning and assists them with drafting and revising asset and stock purchase agreements, contracts, loan documentation, and related transaction and corporate documents. She also has extensive experience in the areas of trademark law, unfair competition, debt recovery/creditor claims, real estate law, and corporate law. Lisa, who is perfectly fluent in Spanish, is thereby better able to assist Hispanic clients both in litigation and with business and individual legal matters. |
