In addition, Lisa’s practice includes the analysis of patent issues in diligence investigations as well as freedom to operate assessments.Lisa currently serves as the Managing Partner of the Firm and is the chair of its Patent Practice Group. Lisa is also the former chair of the Firm’s Life Sciences Task Force, and she serves as counsel to many sectors of the life sciences community, including emerging and established companies, investors, and research and educational institutions. Lisa’s patent experience encompasses diverse areas of life science technologies, from biologics to medical devices including molecular and cellular biology, genomics and proteomics, immunology, molecular diagnostics, and food science.Prior to her law career, Lisa worked as a veterinary technician and conducted drug dosage efficacy studies in the clinical microbiology and pathology departments at Michigan State University; she also worked at the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Medicine. |
