| Description | Lourdes joined the firm in November 2017. Her practice focuses on local government law, business law and estate planning. She recently began serving as the primary attorney for the City of Melba.Lourdes graduated from the College of Idaho in 2007 with a double major Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Economy and History. After which, she served as Executive Assistant to Mayor Garret Nancolas of Caldwell. In 2013, she attended Gonzaga University School of Law and later transferred to the University of Idaho, College of Law, where she received her J.D. in December of 2015. Lourdes passed the Idaho State Bar exam in May of 2016 and immediately began work as Deputy Legal Counsel with the Idaho State Controller’s office.During law school, she participated in the University of Idaho’s Small Business Legal Clinic, the Street Law and Family Law Clinics and Gonzaga University’s Moderate Means Program. She also studied comparative business and antitrust law abroad in China during her second year and was associate and business editors for the University of Idaho’s Critical Legal Studies Journal (CRIT). Lourdes worked for Intermountain Fair Housing Council during her final semester of law school and after graduation was hired by the non-profit to assist clients with issues relating to the federal Fair Housing Act and other civil rights and landlord/tenant issues.Lourdes grew up in Middleton and graduated from Middleton High School before attending the College of Idaho. Lourdes is bilingual in Spanish. She lives in Meridian with her husband and their very spoiled puppy. |
