| Description | Mary Katherine Shoenfelt, who goes by ‘Katie’, is a Baton Rouge native. In 2009, she graduated from LSU. She took and passed the Louisiana Bar Exam in July of that year. In the fall, she began working with her father Oscar Shoenfelt, III, who has been a local attorney in Baton Rouge for over thirty years. She sat as second chair on two jury trials her first year of practice, and has been before the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeal. She is experienced in personal injury, medical malpractice and family law. In 2013, Katie joined the Rowe Law Firm. Her practice includes the following areas: divorces, child custody, child support, spousal support (alimony), judicial separations, partitioning of community property, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, restraining orders, paternity issues, and other related issues.
