In addition to her work with ITLA and ECIWAA, Miranda is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association (ISBA) and the American Association for Justice (AAJ).Miranda is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of the University of Illinois College of Law. She earned her B.A. with High Honors from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee. During law school, Miranda received accolades for her performance in the area of Advanced Legal Research, receiving the highest grade in her class for her legal pathfinder. She was one of ten members chosen to the Law School’s traveling trial team. She was a recipient of the Pro Bono Notation for volunteering numerous hours of legal services to those in need, including service to Champaign County Court Appointed Special Advocates and Louisiana’s Resurrection After Exoneration.If she has any spare time, Miranda enjoys camping, spending time with her two dogs, snowboarding, running half-marathons, traveling, and a variety of other athletic activities.
