She also gained experience in online defamation assessments while interning at a small boutique firm in Traverse City. While earning her J.D. she focused her studies on intellectual property law. In 2013 she had the opportunity to travel to Croatia where she studied internet law and international copyright law within the European Union.Patricia works primarily with businesses to support their wide-ranging business needs, along with their intellectual property requirements. She assists with trademark applications, monitoring, and enforcement, as well as general inquiries related to licensing, copyrights and contractual agreements.A Grand Rapids native, Patty is happy to be back in the area. When she is not in the office she enjoys cooking, traveling, sailing, and exploring West Michigan with her dog Walter.
