His years of experience as a human resources consultant provide him with a strong foundation upon which to build his legal practice. In state and federal court proceedings, he searches for every opportunity for a favorable resolution, either through litigation or compromise. He regularly represents clients before the United States Department of Labor’s Wage and Hour Division, Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Florida Commission on Human Relations, and before other federal, state and local regulatory agencies. Independent of his litigation practice, Mr. Keaton assists management in complying with state and federal employment regulations. This includes developing employee handbook and policy manuals, conducting internal investigations of employee complaints, and training management on developments in various employment and labor laws. Mr. Keaton is also a frequent speaker at labor and employment conferences on legal developments that impact employers. |
