| Description | Terry was born and raised in the Fox Valley graduating from Kimberly High School and UW Oshkosh. In 1983, he received his law degree from Pepperdine University in Malibu, CA as a published member of the law review. Following graduation, Terry was admitted to the California Bar Association and practiced in Los Angeles until 1987. Terry was admitted to the Wisconsin Bar Association and returned to Wisconsin to join the firm of Sommer, Olk, and Schroeder until he accepted a position with Liebmann, Conway, Olejniczak, & Jerry. In 1997, Terry and Ann Patteson formed Bouressa & Patteson where he worked until 2008. From 2008 to 2018, Terry joined what is now known as One Law Group, formerly known as Stellpflug Law, in DePere. In 2018, Terry joined the litigation team at Menn Law Firm at its Green Bay office. Over his 30+ year career Terry has focused on litigation in trial courts, courts of appeal, Wisconsin Supreme Court, administrative tribunals throughout the state and in tribal courts. Specific areas of litigation inlude personal injury, workers compensation, employment and commercial disputes. In addition, Terry is experienced in municipal law and has worked with Indian tribes. Licenses are held in the state and federal courts in Wisconsin and California (inactive) as well as the Oneida and Menominee Tribal Courts. Terry has served as a member of the Preliminary Review Committee of the Wisconsin Supreme Court and is currently a Special Investigator for the Office of Lawyer Regulation, providing experience in the rules which govern lawyers in Wisconsin. Outside of work, Terry was the past President of the Brown County Bar Association and has supported westside athletics in Green Bay and has coached, and judged high school mock trial over many years.
