| Description | Timothy joined the Beal Law Firm in October 2016 after working at a general practice law firm where he first-chaired contested temporary orders hearings, mediations, and a jury trial. Working at a general practice firm allowed Timothy to gain experience in numerous areas of law and discover the area he is truly passionate about family law. Timothy enjoys family law because it provides an opportunity to assist clients during an important and difficult period of their lives.Timothy grew up in the Grapevine-Colleyville area and obtained his bachelor’s degree from the University of North Texas. While at UNT he was President of both Kappa Sigma Fraternity and the Sports Marketing Association, as well as a member of the moot court team.Timothy attended law school at the University of Arkansas School of law where he graduated magna cum laude and excelled in all areas of advocacy. Additionally, Timothy was President of both the Criminal Law Society and the Sports & Entertainment Law Society. Based on his performances in various school competitions, Timothy was selected to represent his law school in numerous regional competitions as a member of the negotiations, trial, and baseball arbitration teams. Additionally, Timothy was a research assistant for two professors, a Note and Comment Editor for the Journal of Food Law & Policy, and a student attorney for the Life Without Parole Legal Clinic. He also traveled abroad for a summer to study law at the University of Cambridge and run with the bulls in Pamplona.Outside of the office, Timothy is an avid football fan (both European and American) and enjoys supporting his teams: Tottenham Hotspur and the Dallas Cowboys. He is a co-host on the Hotspur America podcast and a member of the Official Tottenham Hotspur Supporters Club for Dallas-Fort Worth. When he is not watching sports, Timothy enjoys spending his weekends relaxing and barbecuing with his wife and their two giant mastiffs. |
