Description | Orlando Personal Injury AttorneyOrlando-Personal-Injury-Attorney-Best-PhotoI am an Orlando personal injury attorney like no other. I have a stellar academic background (graduated 2nd in my last school class), worked previously as a big firm defense attorney & law professor, and have won many awards. Even better, I still provide exceptionally personalized service. Many of my clients have called me complaining about not being able to speak with attorneys at other firms. I am an Orlando personal injury attorney with a low volume case approach, which allows me to give all of my clients as much attention as their case needs. I work very closely with my clients with a determined focused on fully maximizing their financial recovery.Orlando Personal Injury Attorney With Unique Team ApproachI handle every case as co-counsel with another Florida personal injury law firm, which means that by hiring me you literally hire a team of personal injury attorneys and staff for the same price as one. I strongly believe this team approach benefits my clients tremendously, since they gain the advantage of the unique and important skills of more than one Orlando personal injury attorney (and often two or three). (If you are another attorney, we pay the maximum referral fees allowed by Florida law. If you are a potential client, this team approach never costs you a penny more.)Orlando Personal Injury Attorney With Uniquely Stellar Academic BackgroundI graduated from Florida State University, second in my class, in 1995. I earned book awards (highest grade in the class) in many subjects, including Civil Procedure (one of the most difficult courses in law school according to most law students), Constitutional Law (ditto), Federal Jurisdiction (ditto, again), Property I & II (another ditto) and Criminal Law & Procedure. I’ll tell you why I think my law school performance matters. I had to work my tail off for those grades. Law school is difficult. Competition is fierce. Those grades came from a strong work ethic and fierce determination, combined with a large degree of obsession over every little detail. Zebras do not change their stripes, and neither have I.My Work As A Young Associate AttorneyAfter law school, I worked in two large corporate defense firms, practicing insurance and employment law defense. Most of my former classmates could not even remotely land jobs in those firms. I also worked as a professor of civil procedure and advanced legal writing at Barry University College of Law. Before I opened my own Orlando personal injury law firm, I primarily drafted critical trial motions and appellate briefs for other personal injury attorneys, including successful work on many multi-million dollar cases.A Few Personal Tidbits About My Life TodayI’m always surprised that attorney websites never tell much about the human behind the photograph. If I were a potential client, I’d like to know a little about the person I might hire. So, here goes. I spent most of my childbearing years caring for my aging grandfather, who was very sick and needed intensive personal care for 15 years before he died. That was probably one of the biggest reasons why, unfortunately, my husband and I never had children of our own. But we do have 4 cats we love to pieces. They were all rescues. We also love distance running and cycling, which you can find us doing all around Central Florida during our spare time. I’m trying to become a vegan although I cheat more than I should. We also love camping and hiking, and recently purchased an older RV, which my husband renovated. We spend many weekends on the nearby beaches. My husband a small local business with many years of satisfied customers in Orlando. He’s a great guy, and I’m very lucky to have him. |
