Mr. Metzger and his wife, Mary, are actively involved in the preservation of historic structures in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. In that vein, Mr. Metzger serves as a member of the Preservation Action Committee of the Historic Preservation Trust of Lancaster County, the Trust having recognized the couple, and their residence, known as the Abraham Herr House, as the recipient of two C. Emlen Urban Preservation Awards, in both the Craftsmanship and Facade Restoration categories. |
