| Description | Xiaohong received his Ph. D. in Physical Chemistry from the University of Alberta in Edmonton, Canada. After a postdoctoral fellowship in National Institutes of Health, he worked as a research investigator for drug discovery and development in Bristol-Myers Squibb and Covance for a number of years. While working together with other scientists, Xiaohong used his knowledge in physical and analytical chemistry, metabolism, and computers to advance experimental drugs. His practice focuses on patent preparation and prosecution in both US and foreign patent offices. Xiaohong has experience in the area of small molecule chemistry, biomolecules, pharmaceuticals, polymers, batteries, and medical devices. Xiaohong attended law school and graduated with his JD degree in 2014 from the University of Wisconsin Madison Law School. Prior to joining McKee, Voorhees & Sease as an associate, Xiaohong was an associate at Foley & Lardner, LLP and an IP and student attorney at the University of Wisconsin Law & Entrepreneurship Clinic.
