| Description | Frank A. Ortiz was the founding member of Ortiz & Ortiz, LLP. Admitted to practice in New York in 1959, Frank had over 50 years of experience as a civil and criminal trial lawyer. He earned his undergraduate degree from the City College of New York in 1953 and, after completing his service as an infantry officer, went on to receive his Juris Doctorate from Harvard Law School in 1958. Frank represented hundreds of defendants in criminal cases in State and Federal district courts throughout the U.S. and Puerto Rico. He frequently received referrals from other attorneys and was actively involved in many civic and community groups. Frank worked with the firm until his sudden passing in late 2016. |
