| Description | Virginia A. Norkevicius received her law degree in 1990 from Suffolk University Law School in Boston, Massachusetts. She also earned a M.S. in Secondary Guidance from Central Connecticut State University, New Britain, Connecticut in 1979, and a B.A. in Special Education from the University of St. Joseph, West Hartford, Connecticut in 1976. Virginia is admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the District of Columbia. She is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association. Virginia’s immigration legal practice focuses on removal defense, naturalization and family-based immigration, to include: petitions, adjustment of status, consular processing, waivers of inadmissibility, consent to reapply for admission, prosecutorial discretion, deferred action, parole-in-place, motions, and appeals.Virginia has gained over twenty years of immigration legal experience through employment at various southeast Michigan immigration law firms and non-profit organizations before joining Antone, Casagrande & Adwers, P.C. She also provides on-going pro-bono immigration legal services to Justice For Our Neighbors Southeastern Michigan, and Most Holy Trinity’s Legal Clinic.Virginia is a former Special Education Teacher, Lithuanian language teacher, Lithuanian Scouts Troop Leader, and Quality Trainer. She is fluent in Lithuanian and an active member of the Lithuanian Scouts Association. |
