Eisenberg is a member of the firm’s Private Client Group.Estate Planning and Estate and Trust Administration.Lance assists clients with the development of estate plans that meet both their personal and tax-planning goals. He has experience drafting various estate planning instruments, including wills, various trusts, durable powers of attorney, and advance directives for health care. Lance also represents beneficiaries and fiduciaries with respect to the administration of trusts and estates, accounting actions and other probate matters in the courts of both New Jersey and New York.Nonprofit Organization Tax Experience.Lance advises nonprofit organizations, including private foundations, public charities and supporting organizations, regarding corporate governance and activity issues. He has experience forming tax-exempt organizations and completing Section 501(c)(3) exemption applications.Other Tax Experience.Lance also has experience counseling business clients on the application of federal and state tax law to various transactions. In addition, he works closely with members of the firm’s Corporate Restructuring Practice Group on tax issues affecting creditors and debtors in bankruptcy.NFLPA Registered Player Financial Advisor. Lance is one of the few estate planning attorneys in the country who is a Registered Player Financial Advisor with the National Football League Player’s Association.Professional Memberships.Lance is a member of the American Bar Association (Entertainment and Sports Law Section; Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section; and Taxation Section); the New Jersey State Bar Association (Elder and Disability Law Section; Entertainment, Arts and Sports Law Section; Real Property, Trust and Estate Law Section; and Tax Law Section); and the Estate Planning Council of Northern New Jersey.Prior Experience.Upon graduation from law school, Lance clerked for the Hon. Melvin S. Whitken, Presiding Judge of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Union County, during the 1999-2000 term, and for the Hon. Rosemary Gambardella, Chief Judge of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court, District of New Jersey, during the 2000-2001 term.
