Allow her to simplify a complex process and use it to your advantage so that you may achieve justice.Nicole Young grew up just across the Golden Gate Bridge from San Francisco in Marin County, California with her parents and older brother and sister. As a member of her high school cross country team, she spent much of her time exploring the natural beauty of the area through running.After graduating high school, Nicole went on to attend the University of Oregon as an undergraduate. During her time in Eugene, she volunteered with law students at Legal Aid Services of Lane County. It was during her time with the organization that Nicole realized she wanted to become an attorney. In 2013, Nicole graduated from the University of Oregon cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Phi Beta Kappa membership.Nicole decided to attend the University of California at Los Angeles for law school. As a law student, Nicole used her previous experience volunteering at for Lane County’s legal aid clinic to subsume a leadership role for El Centro Legal Clinics at UCLA Law. As co-chair for the Carecen (Central American Resource Center) clinic, she coordinated volunteer trainings, attendance, and performance. In her free time, Nicole organized a hiking group for law students to explore nearby canyons, mountains, and falls (after the rare rainy occasion).Upon graduation from law school, Nicole accepted an offer to join Premier Law Group after witnessing the firm’s compassionate and steadfast approach to representing clients. Nicole was also eager to move to Seattle after half of her immediate family made the trek to the area. At PLG, Nicole greatly values the opportunity to help individuals combat wrongs committed by insurance companies and employers. Nicole also appreciates the balance of natural beauty and metropolitan atmosphere in Seattle. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, running, going out with friends, and hunkering down next to her sun lamp during the winter months. |
