Description | From her education to the courtroom, Amber Racine knows hard work, skill and determination. She uses them every day when successfully representing catastrophically injured plaintiffs in product liability, premises liability and general negligence actions. Graduating with a bachelor’s degree in History and Politics from Drexel University in 2004, Ms. Racine was a distinguished A.J. Drexel Scholar. After graduation, while working full time as a paralegal at a litigation firm, Ms. Racine enrolled in Temple University’s James E. Beasley School of Law attending classes in the evening. In 2008, she received her law degree and was awarded Distinguished Classroom Performance and Outstanding Oral Advocacy Awards.In 2016 The Barristers’ Association of Philadelphia awarded Amber The Outstanding Young Lawyer Award which is given to a young attorney who demonstrates excellence in the practice of law and concern for her community. In 2015, Philadelphia Business Journal named Ms. Racine a Future Transformer, The Legal Intelligencer awarded her Diverse Attorney of the Year, and BillyPenn listed her in Who’s Next: Young Leaders Making a Difference in the Philadelphia Legal Community. For the past 5 years, she has been named a Super Lawyer Rising Star by Philadelphia Magazine, a selective distinction given to the top 2.5 percent of attorneys 40 years old or younger in Pennsylvania. Additionally, Ms. Racine co-authored two legal resource books: The Library of Pennsylvania Personal Injury Forms (Volumes I and II) and Pennsylvania Causes of Action (Volume I). The Philadelphia Bar Association also recently appointed Ms. Racine to its Editorial Board.Ms. Racine is Co-Chair of the Philadelphia Bar Association’s Women in the Profession Committee. She is also a past President of the Barristers’ Association and served as a member of the Executive Board for more than five years. She is a past recipient of the association’s President’s Award (2010).
