She can help clients throughout Shawnee County, Kansas and surrounding areas from the firm’s Topeka, Kansas office location.Ashley has a background that includes social work and helping children in foster care achieve permanency, including helping those biological parents complete their required tasks. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Social Work from Kansas State University, where she developed the drive to help individuals facing difficult times. During her time as a social worker, she realized that one of the biggest obstacles to many of the roadblocks that her social work clients encountered were tangled up, in one way or another, with the law. She followed through on this passion and received her Juris Doctor from Washburn University School of Law. While there she also obtained a Family Law Certificate which required many hours of family law specific training and experience. She was also a member Texas Young Lawyers Association Trial Team and the Pro Bono Society during law school. Ashley is licensed to practice and assist clients in the state of Kansas.In her free time Ashley enjoys spending time with her rescue dog, Penny, as well as reading fiction books, and practicing creative hand-lettering. |
