| Description | Ms. Cummings is an associate in the firm’s Litigation department focusing on areas of insurance defense, premises liability, and construction defect. Ms. Cummings’ experience in these fields began while attending the University of Oregon School of Law during which time she was a law clerk for an insurance defense attorney. After graduating from law school, Ms. Cummings returned to Las Vegas where she had earned her undergraduate degree. Ms. Cummings then began working with a construction defect firm where she defended developers in complex construction defect cases. Ms. Cummings was raised in the small coastal town of Newport, Oregon, but felt the draw of the bright lights of Las Vegas, which led her to UNLV. While attending UNLV, Ms. Cummings put her classical ballet training to work as the assistant manager of Capezio Dance Theater Shop where she assisted dancers of all ages and worked with many of the large shows on the Las Vegas Strip. Ms. Cummings also had the opportunity to perform occasionally with a small group of Brazilian Samba dancers at various events throughout the city. Ms. Cummings maintains a passion for the performing arts and tries to attend as many shows as she can in Las Vegas. She also enjoys exploring the different museums and parks Las Vegas has to offer with her husband and young daughter. Loyal to both of her alma maters, Ms. Cummings is a fan of the UNLV Rebels and the Oregon Ducks.
