Mr. Sweetman graduated from the University of Texas Law School in 1973. He is licensed to practice in all Texas State Courts and The U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas. Mr. Sweetman has successfully defended all types of personal injury lawsuits from minor car crash cases to complicated and catastrophic medical malpractice matters. As lead counsel, Mr. Sweetman has taken over 200 verdicts in Cameron County, Hidalgo County, Willacy County, Starr County, Bexar County, Nueces County, Kleberg County, and Travis County. Mr. Sweetman has served on the State Bar of Texas Grievance Committee and was a founding officer of the Rio Grande Valley Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates. |
