The trial court’s decision in this matter is available on westlaw. WorldCare Limited Corporation v. World Insurance Company, 2011 WL 1770445 (D. Neb. May 9, 2011).{newline}{newline}In 2010, Dana successfully prosecuted a complex business dispute concerning the development and commercialization of an automated pizza vending machine. After a two week jury trial, the jury returned a million dollar verdict.{newline}{newline}In 2007, Dana prosecuted a complex contract action involving four clinical studies for FDA approval of a contrast agent used in MRI technology. In addition to the sums awarded by the jury, Dana also secured double damages and attorneys’ fees under the Massachusetts unfair and deceptive trade practices statute. Both the jury award and the trial court’s decision were affirmed on appeal. The trial court and appellate courts’ decision in this matter are available on westlaw. Worldcare Clinical, Inc. v. Bracco Diagnostics, Inc., 2007 WL 2367642 (Mass. Super July 23, 2007); Worldcare Clinical, Inc. v. Bracco Diagnostics, Inc., 2009 WL 468870 (Mass. App. Ct. February 26, 2009).{newline}{newline}Dana, Will Nystrom, and Mike Paris also tried the landmark steroid contamination action Coria v. Universal Nutrition in New Jersey Superior Court. In that case, the firm successfully represented Guillermo Coria, formerly ranked No. 3 in the world in men’s professional tennis, in a products liability action against a manufacturer of multivitamins that were alleged to have been contaminated with steroids.{newline}{newline}Dana has handled a variety of cases involving contractual and partnership disputes, business torts, securities fraud, employment disputes (including discrimination and wage act claims and enforcement of confidentiality and non-competition agreements), trademark disputes, trade secrets, unfair and deceptive trade practices, and personal injury.{newline}{newline}Dana has a preeminent AV rating from Martindale Hubbell and has been named as one of Massachusetts Rising Star Super Lawyers in 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012 by Law & Politics and Boston Magazine.{newline}{newline}Prior to joining NBP in 2004, Dana practiced for six years in the litigation department at Goodwin Procter LLP.{newline}{newline}Dana is admitted to the bars of Massachusetts and the District of Columbia.
