Ed is a member of the Tennessee Probate Study Group, a joint ACTEC and TBA committee responsible for reviewing and drafting proposed state laws regarding estates, trusts, property, and inheritance, including related tax laws. Ed served on the board of the Knoxville Estate Planning Council for nine years, including a term as President. Writing In 2012, Ed began authoring a regular column on estate planning, called ‘Where There’s A Will,’ in the Tennessee Bar Journal.
