| Description | Elizabeth received her Bachelor of Arts in Government from Wesleyan University and earned her Juris Doctor (magna cum laude) from American University Washington College of Law.She is admitted to practice in Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia. After graduating law school, Elizabeth served as a Charles F.C. Ruff Fellow with the District of Columbia Office of the Attorney General in the Consumer Protection, Public Advocacy, and Civil Enforcement divisions, where she represented the District of Columbia in Small Claims Court, District Court, and the Office of Administrative Hearings. Since completing the fellowship, Elizabeth has represented clients exclusively in family law cases throughout Northern Virginia.She has experience assisting clients in all aspects of divorce, custody disputes, and pre-nuptial agreements. During law school, Elizabeth was a student attorney in the Janet R. Spragens Federal Tax Clinic, representing low-income clients in U.S. Tax Court and in settlement negotiations with the IRS.She was a law clerk in the Civil Division of the Department of Justice, assisting attorneys representing the United States in vaccine litigation.
