Attorney Flaherty received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Tufts University in 1968 and was in the top 10% of his graduating class at the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Law. He was selected to serve as a law clerk to the Appellate Session of the Superior Court of the State of Connecticut. Prior to law school, Attorney Flaherty served a six-year term with the United States Navy, where he attained the rank of Lieutenant. Attorney Flaherty served a tour of duty in Vietnam and in the Pentagon as Administrative Assistant to the Chief of Legislative Affairs for the Navy. He and his wife raised four boys in Canton, CT and now reside in Old Saybrook. |
