Jesse recognizes the most important thing about a legal matter is not its size or complexity, but the way it affects the people and businesses involved in it. For this reason, direct client communication and immediate response to client needs are core values to Jesse. He will often tell his clients: ‘If you find yourself losing sleep about your case, call me, we may not find the perfect solution at 2:00 a.m., but at least you’ll know your attorney is there for you and thinking about the case with you.’ Jesse graduated from the University of Montana School of Law and received his LL.M. from the University of Washington. He is AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell and admitted to practice before all Montana state courts and the U.S. District Court for the District of Montana. Following law school, Jesse worked for the Office of the State Public Defender where he defended and tried numerous cases involving allegations ranging from DUI to deliberate homicide. In 2012, he transitioned to a civil insurance defense practice before representing a national transportation company on a variety of claims and lawsuits, including some of the biggest litigation exposures in Montana. Jesse founded Murphy Myers with Brooke Murphy in 2018 to provide full service, first-class legal services spanning the spectrum of litigation and related areas. Jesse’s busy practice does not stop him from serving the Billings community. He teaches an undergraduate section of business law at Montana State University Billings as an adjunct professor, serves on the board of directors for the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, and supports several local non-profit organizations with his wife. |
