| Description | Jon Jordan’s practice concentrates on commercial disputes, property tax appeals, and government issues. Jon graduated cum laude with his Bachelors Degree in Political Science from Georgia Southern University. Thereafter, Jon attended Temple University School of Law in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania from 2003-2006, and graduated with honors in the area of criminal law. He served for 2 years on the Temple University Student Bar Association as Vice President of the Temple Law Republicans. He also assisted with drafting and publication of 3 law review articles as a member of the Editorial Board of the Temple Political and Civil Rights Law Review. While at Temple, he completed internships with the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Philadelphia, as well as the Clayton County District Attorney’s Office in Jonesboro, Georgia.From 2005-2006, Mr. Jordan participated in an honor’s clerkship program for Federal Magistrate Judge Thomas J. Rueter of the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. In 2006, he was selected for the Presidential Management Fellows Program.Before attending law school, Mr. Jordan served 4 years working on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C. He started on Capitol Hill as a political analyst for the National Republican Senatorial Committee. From 1999-2003, he worked for the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee’s Ranking Member, Senator Arlen Specter, serving as Deputy Press Secretary, Legislative Aide for Foreign Affairs and Defense issues, and as Special Assistant to the Senator. His work included day to day involvement with the Senator’s media and political strategy and acting as a liaison between other Congressional offices, U.S. Administration and foreign government officials, as well as constituents from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. |
