Most recently, Jordan was associated with one of the oldest and well-known boutique firms in Sonoma County, California where he worked on a wide range of matters including alcohol and beverage litigation, corporate law, employment law, and public entity defense. Jordan began his legal career in New York where he worked for two Wall Street firms specializing in the representation of public companies and private equity funds. During this time, Jordan worked on numerous securities litigation matters, and also advised clients with respect to a variety of issues concerning secured transactions, mergers and acquisitions, regulatory compliance, judgment enforcement, and corporate governance. In addition, Jordan assisted companies in carrying out internal investigations concerning their compliance with the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, and worked alongside an FCPA monitor appointed by the Department of Justice to conduct interviews throughout the Middle East, Asia, and Africa in order to certify a company’s compliance with a deferred prosecution agreement. Jordan also worked as in-house counsel for a Fortune 100 company where he gained experience counseling corporate leaders on various legal issues and independently managed a large docket of civil matters.
