| Description | Mr. Kubit was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He graduated from Knoch High School in Saxonburg, Pennsylvania, received his Associates degree from Butler County Community College and completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Pittsburgh, earning a Bachelor of Science degree. Mr. Kubit then attended the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, receiving his Juris Doctor degree in 1990. He also served as law clerk to the late Honorable Zoran Popovich of the Pennsylvania Superior Court. Mr. Kubit is a past President of the Butler County Bar Association, is the chairman of the board of trustees of Butler County Community College and is a member of the boards of directors of Future Forward Churches, LLC and Passavant Development Corporation. Since the beginning of his tenure with the firm, Mr. Kubit has been actively involved in civil litigation. Having obtained substantial recovery for his clients who have suffered personal injuries, Mr. Kubit is a life member at the Million Dollar Advocates Forum and the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum. He has litigated cases for Plaintiffs and Defendants in Allegheny, Armstrong, Beaver, Butler, Cambria, Clearfield, Mercer, Lawrence, Mercer, Venango and Westmoreland Counties. This litigation has involved a broad range of circumstances, including automobile accidents, product defects, work accidents, medical and dental malpractice, construction defects, contract breaches, real estate disputes, divorce, child custody, support and adoptions. He has also represented school districts in student and staff disciplinary matters and in real estate tax assessment appeals. Mr. Kubit is also an experienced appellate attorney, having argued appeals before the Superior Court and the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania. |
