Description | Mr. Wusinich serves Of Counsel to the firm and consults on specific client matters and legal issues. Mr. Wusinich was the founder and firm principal of the firm since its inception in 1978. The firm has a forty-year plus tradition in civil litigation representation commencing in 1978 with two previous law firms which continued on to what is known as the present day Wusinich & Sweeney, LLC law firm. While Mr. Wusinich no longer personally does trial work or provides day-to-day representation, for almost forty-five years, he practiced in Chester County and developed Wusinich & Brogan into one of the premier plaintiff-side litigation firms in this area. He personally tried over 25 jury trials, including 12 medical malpractice trials. Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on October 30, 1946, Mr. Wusinich is a 1964 Monsignor Bonner graduate where he was a varsity baseball player. In 1968, he graduated from St. Joseph’s University with a Bachelor of Science Degree. He served in the United States Army in Vietnam as an engineer officer, receiving a Bronze Star and other decorations including an Army Accommodation Metal for his duties stateside prior to departing overseas to serve. He received his J.D. from DePaul University in 1974. During his law student time at DePaul, he received a Lex Legio Law Scholarship. He obtained a second law degree, an LL.M. in Trial Advocacy from Temple University in 1995. He also completed two semester-long post-doctoral courses in workers’ compensation law while studying at Temple. He has held various positions in the community, including being a member of the Zoning Hearing Board in East Brandywine Township. He has served on the Board of Trustees at Immaculata University for approximately 15 years where he served as Vice-Chair. He has participated in the Honorable John E. Stively, Jr. Inn of Court, which is a teaching arm of the Chester County Bar Association for young lawyers. He served as President from 2005 through 2006 and previous to that as Program Director from 2000 to 2002. Wusinich & Sweeney, LLC and Mr. Wusinich are proud to serve you as your attorneys.
