Mr. Scott is a member of the Utah State Bar and is licensed to practice law in all Courts in the State of Utah and the 10th Circuit Court of Appeals. Mr. Scott is active in the Litigation and Construction Law Sections of the Utah State Bar, and previously served on the New Lawyers Continuing Legal Education Board where he was involved in organizing and presenting Continuing Legal Education courses to members of the Utah State Bar. Mr. Scott is the author of Subcontractor Construction Defects: Are You Covered?, which was published in the Intermountain Contractor in April of 2008.
