Karen joined the Prince Law Firm in 2017 after serving three years with the Third Judicial Circuit Court Civil Division as a law clerk and then four years as an associate attorney at a general practice firm, focusing her practice on estate and trust administration and litigation, estate planning, guardianship and conservatorship matters, Medicaid and Veterans Affairs (VA) benefits, and general civil litigation. Karen’s primary areas of concentration are estate planning, estate and trust administration, and trust, estate, and probate litigation. Karen is a member of Probate and Estate Planning, Litigation, and Elder Law and Disability Rights Sections of the State Bar of Michigan. |
The firm originally focused on estate planning, post-death administration, and estate and gift taxation, but has steadily expanded to include contested probate litigation, protective proceedings, certain business-related matters, and alternative dispute resolution.
