| Description | Kirsten Curtis has spent her entire legal career assisting Special Investigation Units with defense of first and third party claims and preparing insurance coverage opinions. She has taken her experience into litigation of first and third party insurance claims, where she has been complimented for her deposition and trial skills. Prior to joining Thenell Law Group, Kirsten worked in Portland, Oregon at a large litigation firm focused primarily on insurance defense. She graduated from the James E. Rogers College of Law at the University of Arizona, and is admitted to practice in Oregon. In law school, Kirsten volunteered with the Volunteer Lawyers Project, and represented clients as a 38(d) law student in family law matters. She served as the Student Bar Association vice-president, and interned at the Pima County Attorney’s Office in the criminal division. Kirsten enjoys volunteering within her community. She currently sits as a judge for both the Beaverton and Tigard Youth Peer Courts, assists non-profit organizations with their start-up paperwork, and volunteers with the Multnomah County Bar Association’s Will for Heroes program. When not helping clients fight potential insurance fraud, Kirsten enjoys playing with her Siberian Husky, watching her daughters discover new things, supporting the Oregon State Beavers, and baking new delicacies to bring into the firm. |
