| Description | Lisa Tehlirian graduated from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor in 2000 with a Bachelor’s degree in General Studies with concentrations in biological anthropology and psychology. She continued her studies and received her Juris Doctor in 2004, from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law in Detroit, Michigan. Following her legal studies, Ms. Tehlirian was accepted into the U.S. Department of Justice, Attorney General’s Honors Program where she worked as the Judicial Law Clerk/Attorney Advisor for the Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR), U.S. Immigration Court in Detroit, Michigan. From October 2005 to July 2009, Ms. Tehlirian worked as an immigration attorney at a Metropolitan Detroit immigration law firm, where she had a lead role in managing the firm’s individual and family immigration services group. In July 2009, Ms. Tehlirian launched her own immigration law practice, working of counsel with Ellis Porter, PLC, where she specializes in family-based immigration law, inadmissibility and removability issues, and employment-based immigration law. |
