Lonn has had many opportunities to help clients with situations that are unusual and complex, including bankruptcy disputes, brain injuries, breach of contract, business relationship liability, business torts, class actions, construction disputes, contested adoptions, dead bodies, debt collection, divorce and custody, fraud, guardianship and conservatorship, international and interstate disputes, judicial conduct, motor vehicle collisions, patent infringement, probate disputes, professional and fiduciary liability, real property, securities fraud, and trademark infringement, wrongful death. Lonn started his legal career searching real estate titles for two dozen title companies and lawyers. Lonn identifies title problems and solves them by drafting custom legal documents, filing a probate, a quiet title action, or using other court processes. Lonn helps clients pass property from one generation to the next. Because of Lonn’s vast experience, his real estate title experience, and the relationships he has cultivated, Lonn can process uncontested probates and trusts quickly, effectively, and inexpensively. He also litigates disputes that develop in these areas. Lonn loves children and enjoys using his legal skills to build families. He has done hundreds of adoption finalization hearings and hundreds more petitions regarding parental rights. Some of these adoptions are contested and require litigation, but so far none of Lonn’s clients have been stopped from finalizing. The core of Lonn’s practice is his dedication to excellent legal writing and drafting. Lonn’s knows there are many ways to write a legal document, and there is a best way. Lonn’s constant quest is to find that best way to draft each document. He has taken many courses and read many books to always improve his skills. Lonn is married and has three children, one with dark hair, one with blonde hair, and one with red hair. They enjoy living in the Avenues of Salt Lake City and traveling the world together.
