| Description | Marshall S. Adler has practiced workers’ compensation law in the Central Florida area since 1981. He obtained his law degree at Duke University Law School, where he studied workers’ compensation law under Professor Arthur Larson, who has been widely acknowledged as the world’s leading expert in workers’ compensation law. Professor Larson is the author of the definitive treatise on workers’ compensation law that is used by experts in the field throughout the world. Mr. Adler has been board certified in workers’ compensation law by the Florida Bar since 1988, the first year board certification was awarded in workers’ compensation law. He is AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell’s Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers, which is the highest rating a lawyer can receive for ethics and ability. He has also been awarded the highest possible rating, a perfect 10 out of 10, by AVVO, an attorney rating service. He has been awarded the Eagle Talon Award by the Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers for his dedication to the highest ideals of Florida Trial Lawyers. He has also served as Chairman of the Workers’ Compensation Committee of the Orange County Bar Association and is an original sustaining member of the Florida Workers’ Advocates. Being born and raised in Buffalo, New York, the ultimate working class city, has had a profound influence on Marshall Adler’s life. Although he began his law practice representing insurance companies and corporations in a large law firm setting, for the past 30 years, he decided to represent the same hard working families he grew up with in Buffalo. He enjoys the opportunity to know each and every one of his clients on a personal level, which he could not do in the large law firm setting.
