He attended Stetson University and Florida State law school, graduating with honors in 1981. Rick is a staunch Florida Gator, despite his support of the Clemson University tuition plan for three of his four children. (Yes, the fourth is a Gator.)Rick is board certified in Real Estate Law, a certification attained by less than one percent of all Florida lawyers. He represents buyers, sellers and lenders in residential and commercial real estate transactions, as well as in the area of complex wills and estates. (He has been known to quietly wish that clients would come in for help before signing wrongful contracts, but that is right before he digs in to solve their intricate legal puzzle, land problem or probate issues.) Rick has been judged by his peers as a top Florida lawyer, earning the Martindale-Hubbell AV-rated lawyer, the highest ranking that can be attained by a lawyer.
