| Description | Steve has extensive experience as a trial attorney in Indiana and courts across the country. He served as national trial counsel for a pool product company in Atlanta for 16 years, during which Steve appeared as lead trial counsel for cases in Alabama, California, Florida, Idaho, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Mississippi, New York, Oregon, Tennessee, and Texas. In a case in Maryland where the co-defendant paid $24 million to settle, Steve was successful in obtaining summary judgment for his client despite testimony from two experts that the product manufactured by Steve’s client was defective.Steve’s greatest passion is his family. He has been married for more than 40 years and has two children, four grandsons, and one granddaughter. He greatly enjoys traveling and spending time with his wife and family. Steve is a veteran of the military, having served as an officer in the U.S. Army Reserve.Steve has successfully represented clients in a wide variety of cases and has successfully argued cases in the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit, Indiana Supreme Court and the Indiana Court of Appeals. He is also a certified mediator in Indiana.
