| Description | Originally from Memphis, Tennessee, Stewart joined Harrison & Gammons in 2019. Stewart began his practice after earning his Juris Doctorate from The University of Memphis School of Law in 2015. He graduated from Mississippi State University in 2012 where he was a Roadrunner Student Recruiter, a sports photographer for Mississippi State’s student newspaper The Reflector, and a research analyst with the Social Science Research Center. Prior to coming aboard to Harrison & Gammons, Stewart was the Chief Claims Attorney for III Corps and Fort Hood in Fort Hood, Texas where he advised and represented military units and Department of Defense entities in a broad range of civil matters. Stewart has also represented medical device companies, pharmaceutical manufacturers, insurance companies, medical care providers, large retail clothing companies, and numerous small and large businesses in matters ranging from day to day operational concerns to federal appellate litigation. Stewart’s practice currently focuses on achieving the goals of individuals, small businesses, and national corporations in transactional matters. Stewart represents entities in real estate matters for financing, leasing, construction, contracting, development, and litigation arising from these issues. He also advises businesses in franchising matters, contract negotiation and drafting, business strategy, entity formation and governance, and buyouts, dissolution, and mergers. Stewart is committed to excellent service by providing practical and effective advice to his clients. When not advocating for his clients, Stewart is an avid cyclist and runner and enjoys barbeque, hunting, and exploring The Rocket City and the surrounding area. |
