Her past affiliations involve legal work in banking and construction, as well as securities litigation. Yewande was born and raised in Minneapolis, Minnesota and headed to Chicago for college and law school, graduating Magna Cum Laude from DePaul University, before earning her Juris Doctorate at Northwestern University’s Pritzker School of Law. At Northwestern’s Pritzker School of Law, Yewande served as staff editor for the Journal of International Human Rights, engaging her collaborative and detail-oriented research, writing and analytical abilities. Yewande shares our passion for supporting development of a vibrant, diversified economy and workforce. Her research has included focus on Israel’s economy, where she traveled and interviewed startup companies engaged in evolving and diversifying the labor force. Yewande’s experience includes the Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago, where she was engaged in analysis of mergers and other issues pertinent to banking and finance; and affiliation with Pircher, Nichols and Meeks LLP, where she focused on commercial real estate, establishing Real Estate Investment Trusts (REIT) and related structures. Following in the entrepreneurial footsteps of her parents, Yewande has joined The Markarian Group to help shape the future, our clients’ success and our community. Yewande is a member of the Palm Beach County Bar Association, the Young Lawyers Division of the Florida Bar Association, and The National Conference of Black Lawyers.
