| Description | Prior to 1970, Zelig wrote rulings for the Reorganizations and Dividends Branch, Rulings Division, Internal Revenue Service from 1958 to 1960. From 1961 to 1964 and from 1967 to 1968, he was Associate Counsel to the U.S. House of Representatives, Committee on Interstate and Foreign Commerce. From 1968 to 1969, he was Special Legal Consultant to the U.S. House of Representatives, Committee on Interstate and Foreign Commerce (Special Subcommittee on Investigations). Zelig was a member of the Commission to Revise the Annotated Code of Maryland from 1968 to 1990, and from 1978 to 1988, he was Chairman of the Commission’s Committee which revised the Income Tax Article. Zelig has been involved in the Baltimore and the Maryland community for many years. As an avid supporter of the arts, he has been President of Everyman Theatre since 2004 and was Vice President and Director from 2002 to 2003. He is a Trustee of the Baltimore City Historical Society. Zelig served as Chairman of the Maryland Public Broadcasting Commission from 1991 to 1996 and served on its board from 1989 to 1991. Mr. Robinson was a Director of the Foundation for Maryland Public Broadcasting from 1989 to 1999. From 1988 to 1994, he was a Trustee of Maryland Art Place and was Vice President and Director from 2002-2003. |
